Processing Technology
Mold design & Development
The mold is designed according to the customer's drawings and analyzed with mold flow software.
An aluminum mold is selected and made for the cast iron pump casing.
Blank casting & Inspection
The cast iron pump casing is made of ductile iron.
The blank is cast by sand cast iron clay sand technology, with coated sand core.
The automatic molding machine is used for sand mold production. With the same pressure, the same amount of sand feeding and a vibrating base, the hardness of the sand mold is more uniform.
Therefore the surface roughness and size of the cast blanks are uniform.
After the blank is cast, dimension inspection is performed.
With visual inspection, the qualified blanks have no blisters or shrinkage porosity, and then anti-rust paint is sprayed.
Machining
The parts are transferred in a transfer box to the machining process.
We use CNC boring machines and special molds to machine the cast iron pump casing blanks.
The overall processing accuracy meets the 0.02mm required by the drawings.
Dimension Inspection
After the machining, the product's position and accuracy are dimensionally inspected with CMM.
After confirming that the product is completely within the scope of the drawing, an inspection report will be issued and an inspection mark will be made
Pressure Testing
Transfer the cast iron pump housing to the pressure holding test location for pressure testing. The pressure of the pressure test is set according to the drawing requirements, and after confirming that the test tooling is intact, the test is carried out and a video record is made.
Packing & Delivery
Products are packaged in safe export packaging.
At the same time, packaging can be customized according to customer requirements to meet different customer specific needs, such as plastic bags, cartons, wooden boxes, pallets, etc
