Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a method that uses ultrasonic energy to penetrate into the depths of metal materials and from one section to another section, a feature of reflection at the edge of the interface to check part defects. When the ultrasonic beam passes from the surface of the part from the probe to Inside the metal, reflected waves occur when the defect and the bottom surface of the part are respectively formed, and a pulse waveform is formed on the fluorescent screen, and the position and size of the defect are judged according to these pulse waveforms.
