The main alloying elements in heat-resistant steel are chromium and nickel, which are similar to stainless steel, and have a higher carbon content than stainless steel because they are required to have considerable strength at high temperatures. Heat-resistant steel can be divided into three types according to alloy content, namely: high-chromium steel, chromium-nickel steel and nickel-chromium steel. As far as the characteristics of steel at high temperatures are concerned, heat-resistant steel can be divided into two kinds: one is heat-strong steel, mainly to maintain strength at high temperatures; The other is heat-stable steel, which is mainly resistant to medium corrosion at high temperatures.
