Process Analysis
The product is a sand-cast ductile iron cylinder head part.
The blank is produced by sand-cast coated sand technology.
After the casting is completed, it is shot blasted.
The advantage of the coated sand process is that the mold is a metal mold.
The high-pressure pressing sand mold can make the sand mold more compact and maintain a higher casting accuracy.
Because it is a high-pressure pressed sand mold, the surface finish of the casting is better than that of resin sand or water glass sand.
It can reduce the processing volume and improve the positioning accuracy.
Cylinder head products have relatively high requirements for surface accuracy and casting accuracy, so the coated sand process is a good choice. After casting, it is processed by a precision milling machine and then quality inspected.
After passing the quality inspection, it is packaged and shipped.
