Our high precision die casting product is crafted from A380 material.To further enhance the quality of our high precision die casting product, we use precision machining center processing techniques and comprehensive coordinate testing reports to guarantee that each piece meets exacting standards and tolerances.
Requirements for metal type materials:
Metal type material is the main factor that determines the service life and manufacturing cost of metal type. Materials should be widely sourced and inexpensive. Because the metal type works at high temperatures, it is also required that the metal type material should have the following properties: (1) it has sufficient high temperature strength and thermal stability;
(2) It has enough strength and toughness to withstand the effects of various mechanical forces reliably;
(3)It will not be fused under the action of high temperature liquid metal;
(4)The thermal stress generated when the temperature changes rapidly should be small, and it is not easy to produce warping, deformation and cracks;
(5)Casting performance and machining performance is good.
The application of metal mold casting:
(1) Alloy types In addition to some alloys with a large thermal cracking tendency, commonly used casting alloys can be cast with metal mold, of which aluminum and magnesium alloys are the most widely used.
(2) Casting shape and size Metal casting is generally suitable for casting small and medium-sized parts that are not too complex. Casting non-ferrous alloys can cast more complex parts, such as the cylinder head of the air-cooled engine, the oil pump housing, various cases, etc., while iron and steel metals can only cast simple parts. The weight of aluminum and magnesium alloy castings is generally from tens of grams to tens of kilograms, and iron and steel metal castings are from several kilograms to several hundred kilograms.
(3) Dimensional tolerance level and surface roughness according to GB/ T6414-2017, the dimensional tolerance level of metal castings is generally DCTG7~DCTG10, and the dimensional tolerance level of aluminum and magnesium alloy castings is DCTG7-DCTG9; The surface roughness is generally Ra= 12.5~6.3μm, up to Ra=3.2μm.
(4) The production scale is generally only used in batch or mass production. In the aviation industry, sometimes because of high casting quality requirements, it is not limited by the production batch.
