Process
The blank is made by free forging process, and roughed after normalizing treatment. After the shape is turned out by CNC lathe, the gear is processed by milling machine, and the surface hardening process is carried out to make the surface hardness meet the requirements of the drawing. Finally, high-precision grinding process is carried out. The total precision of the finished product can reach 0.02mm. Then we can get the final product of gear machining.
Process Control
The control point of the process lies in the tempering process after rough machining and the precision control in the finishing process. Tempering control is controlled by heat treatment process, and precision control is ensured by the accuracy of the machine tool itself.
During the tempering process, the metal is heated to a specific temperature and then cooled at a specific rate to achieve the desired level of hardness and toughness. The control of this process involves precise monitoring of temperature and time, as well as the use of specific quenching media.
