Process Analysis
The product is a pump impeller part.
Such products generally require high casting accuracy, but this product requires CT7-CT8 casting accuracy. We chose to use the precision casting water glass process to produce the blanks.
The material is 304 stainless steel.
After the blank is produced, it is solution treated and then transferred to the machining process.
The machining will process the bottom surface and the center hole with a machining accuracy of 0.02mm. It is processed with a precision CNC lathe.
After the machining, both casting size and processing size will be fully inspected.
Once the sizes fully meet the requirements of the drawing, it will be packed and shipped.
And corresponding inspection documents for the pump impeller parts will be provided to customers.
The water glass process is a precision casting process. In terms of casting accuracy, water glass technology is in the middle of the silica sol and the sand casting. The advantage is that the casting accuracy is higher than the sand casting process, but slightly worse than the silica sol process.
It can cast products with complex shapes and is also an investment casting process.
