Process Brief Introduction
Investment casting, water glass technology, drilling, polishing, hard chrome plating.
Casting Technology
The product is a Yacht bollard.
The water glass techonlogy is used for the investment casting. The casting accuracy can reach CT8-9.
Inspection and Machining
The first piece will be cut and inspected to confirm the pouring gate and internal quality.
After casting, the holes will be processed with a CNC machining center.
Surface Treatment
After machining, polishing is performed to achieve a bright effect (brushed polishing).
then, anti-corrosion treatment and hard chromium plating (as below) are required.
On the one hand: to enhance the hardness. On the other hand: to enhance anti-corrosion and to make the yacht bollards more durable.
Packing
After confirming that the large machine tool castings is qualified, it will be packed and shipped in standard export package or customized package.
